Nathan Sirikumara is an award-winning screenwriter and director based in Melbourne/Naarm. His works have screened at film festivals and exhibitions across the globe. His latest film, FAMISHED, won the Audience Choice Award at the ReelGood Film Festival.

In addition to filmmaking, Nathan is a postgraduate researcher at Swinburne University of Technology, where he is pushing the boundaries of creative practice and bold representation through his research projects.
 
The son of two Sri Lankan immigrants, he takes pride in his rich cultural heritage, and is committed to bringing unique Sri Lankan Australian stories to the screen. His feature film in development, FAMISHED, received support from the Melbourne International Film Festival's 37 South Film Market.

Nathan is a proud member of the Australian Writers’ Guild.
